We collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, property or project details, and financial position data when you complete our enquiry form or subscribe to our mailing list. For energy sector enquiries, we also collect company and permit information.
Information is collected to assess whether we are able to assist with your project, to communicate with you regarding your enquiry, and where a formal engagement is agreed, to prepare and submit funding applications on your behalf or facilitate introductions to investors.
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (cloud-hosted PostgreSQL with encryption at rest). New Zealand client data is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Data relating to clients in other jurisdictions is handled in accordance with the applicable local privacy laws.
We do not share your personal information with any third party without your written approval, except where required to provide agreed services — for example, sharing project information with a prospective lender or investor only after you have received and approved the proposed introduction in writing.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@creativefinanceconsultants.com. We will action valid deletion requests within 20 working days.
You may request deletion of any personal information we hold about you, including your name, contact details, project information, and any correspondence records. Where we are required to retain certain records for legal or regulatory purposes, we will inform you of any records that cannot be deleted and the reason why.
Send an email to privacy@creativefinanceconsultants.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please include your full name and the email address used when submitting your enquiry so we can locate your records. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes it was collected. Enquiry data for projects that did not proceed to a formal engagement is retained for a maximum of 24 months. Data relating to completed engagements may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with NZ financial record-keeping obligations.
If your data has been shared with a third party (such as a lender or investor) pursuant to a written approval you provided, you will need to contact that party directly to request deletion of the copy they hold. We can provide you with their contact details on request.
